Peer Coaching

Peer coaches are NNYM members who invest in selected network leaders to help them start and grow a local network, regardless of their geographic location. As a peer coach, you can select a commitment level that fits your availability. Peer coaches help fill gaps where no field coordinators exist, or where a peer coach is a better fit for a particular network leader.

Because the Network Values Agreement defines shared values of the Network movement, all coordinators and coaches are NNYM members. We will only pass on what we are committed to.

A coach follows a short checklist of steps to connect with, provide orientation and train the coordinator(s). The coach is available to answer any questions the local network leadership might have about networking. This support begins and ends when the coordinator and coach agree it's no longer needed.

The checklist is standardized but the time commitment for a coach to help a network coordinator varies with the needs, experience, and gifts of each coordinator. The commitment will fit the amount of time the coach has available.

If you are interested in coaching someone to lead a network, please fill out the application form below.  If you have more questions, you can contact the Network office.
