COACHING
Coaches are assigned to a geographic location. They encourage and support local network coordinators and communicate regularly with them.
Regional Coordinator
Regional coordinators is a catalyst of networking within a group of states. NNYM divides the U.S. into ten regions. The regional role is staffed by people with deep youth ministry experience and a combination of pastoral, administrative, entrepreneurial and teaching gifts. Regional staff usually raise their financial support to champion networking in their region.
State Coordinator
State coordinators are integral to the regional team, working closely with the regional coordinator. They focus on coaching local coordinators and recruiting/building a team of leaders who work together toward the goal of having healthy networks covering a whole state. State staff usually raise their financial support to champion networking in their region, some work as bi-vocational. In some states (like Texas or California), the scope of the role requires multiple state co-coordinators.
Area Coordinator
Area coordinators champion the four priorities of NNYM to youth workers and local coordinators in a metro area or section of a state (e.g., "Northern Virginia" or "Metro Twin Cities, MN."). They build, support and encourage networks in addition to another youth ministry job.

Local Coordinator
A local coordinators should connect to NNYM team members to help lead ministry networks better as they share area and regional resources and strategies for their community. We encourage established networks to coordinate with area and regional staff in order to share best practices and help to inspire ministry networks in neighboring communities.
