A New Adventure as NNYM Lancaster County Coordinator  

Sharpening youth leaders and shepherding students for Christ in our city, with our city, for our city. 

I am delighted to stand with other youth ministry workers in Lancaster County to bring the Gospel to local teenagers. We want to raise up teenagers to be courageous spiritual leaders in their spheres of influence for Christ. Here are some key relevant stats about Lancaster County:

  • 43 middle and high schools
  • 35,000 students
  • 47,000 teachers
  • 400 churches
  • 270 student ministry parachurch organizations

The mission of NNYM is to create collaborative spaces for youth leaders to be personally encouraged, professionally equipped and spiritually strengthened for faithful and effective ministry with the next generation.

Sharpen youth leaders in their community and to shepherd students to their calling.

In this role I get the privilege of:

  • Equipping, encouraging, and empowering youth workers in Lancaster County.
  • Galvanizing student ministry leaders to create stronger collaborative networks.
  • Creating & facilitating trainings for youth workers to sharpen their skills.
  • Investing in student ministry leaders to breathe life into their calling and conviction.
  • Adding value to youth ministry leaders through goal setting, problematizing, vision casting, pulpit filling, encouraging, counseling, praying, and championing.
  • Preaching at middle and high school retreats, camps, and conferences.
  • Connecting with NNYM's workers across the country for mission and vision alignment and partnering in national level events.
