David Grant
Pastor

David is a long-time year veteran of youth ministry and a national coach and speaker. He has served in churches in Florida, Texas and Georgia.

Prior to joining the Board of Directors, David was the NNYM Southeast Regional Coordinator. He was also Chair of the Network's Ministry Council and served on the Advisory Council.

David and his wife, Julie, have four adult children and a quiverfull of grandchildren.

Jeff Mills
Finance Operations

Jeff heads up operations for a division of a San Diego based software company and serves on the NNYM Board of Directors' Finance Committee. His background is in corporate treasury and finance, having worked for both public and private companies in these capacities for over 20 years.

Jeff and his wife, Lora, live in San Diego with their two young daughters. His focus is leading his daughters in their walk with Christ and working with NNYM so all youth can experience the glory of a relationship with God.

Bud Nelson
Finance Educator

Bud Nelson is an Adjunct Professor of Finance for Point Loma Nazarene University and as an independent financial consultant.

His professional background is in corporate finance where his career spanned over 30 years in various financial management roles, including as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller at Qualcomm, a multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company.

Bud also serves on the Advisory Board for the San Diego Salvation Army and has a passion for seeing youth come to Christ and supporting the NNYM mission of networking youth leaders. Bud and his wife Valerie reside in San Diego and have two adult daughters.

Julie Payne
Attorney

Julie Payne is an attorney who has served on the NNYM Board of Directors since 2021. She earned a BA in English from Purdue University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana School of Law.

In recent years, Julie has spent much of her time supporting various nonprofit organizations and her church with a focus toward assisting and advocating for children and women both nationally and internationally.

Julie and her husband, Mark, are native Hoosiers and have lived in Carmel, Indiana for three decades. They enjoy spending time with their two daughters, son-in-law and granddaughter.

Caroline Payne
Attorney

Thorough, persistent and organized, Caroline Payne is an advocate who is diligent about meeting and exceeding expectations.

Her practice is focused in the areas of product liability, toxic tort and complex commercial litigation. Her professional experience includes integrated mergers and acquisitions plan.

Away from the office, Caroline is interested in historical oddities and is a pizza enthusiast.

Jan Paul Storey
Marketing Professional

Jan's daily motivation is to enable dreams. He loves to help individuals grow in their professional position and get everything they've ever wanted out of life and more.

Jan Paul is the Founder of Storey Strategic Consulting and an experienced Business Development consultant with a demonstrated history in the hospital and healthcare industry.

He is a Business Development Specialist with Symmetry Financial Group (SFG), one of the fastest-growing insurance marketing organizations in the country.

Ray Van Amburg
Sales Operations Executive

Ray is Sales Management and Operations executive with documented success supervising teams in highly competitive markets.

He possesses in depth experience in Business Turnaround Strategy with an ability to leverage strategic market knowledge. Ray has a proven track record in developing business, building partnerships, and exceeding revenue goals while leading and developing team members.

Ray's career passion is blending his sales management expertise and leadership skills to take revenue goals and ROI to the next level.

Randy Davis
NNYM

Randy is passionate about raising the leadership capacity of youth leaders and fostering unity across churches and ministries nationwide. With more than 40 years of experience serving students and next-generation leaders—both in the local church and through national leadership with Youth for Christ—Randy is driven by a deep commitment to seeing every young person transformed by the story of Jesus.

A lifelong learner, Randy holds two master's degrees and two doctorates, including a Doctor of Ministry and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. Teaching, writing, and encouraging leaders remain central to his calling as he continues to champion healthy, connected leaders who can faithfully serve the next generation.
