Give Students a Platform

LET'S BE HONEST

Many of us are products of a leader or group of leaders who saw something in us when we were younger. Now that we are the leader of a ministry, it's our turn to create an environment for students to flourish in their gifts and talents.

1. What are your true feelings of Tik Tok?

2. How has the Ukraine-Russia Conflict impacted your ministry?

3. Who is your favorite comedian?

DISCUSSION TIME

Do you have a story of when you were a student and someone gave you the chance to lead?

Did you ever, as a student, approach leadership and ask them to involve you in leadership? How did they respond?

Does the idea of having students run the ministry seem attainable or more "pie in the sky?"

Do you feel your own ministry is more of a "ministry FOR students" or a "ministry run BY students?"

Do you have any awesome stories of when students ran with something that went great?

How have you seen students fail in leading?

Is there a time a student failed at leading something and they came out stronger?

Have you been able to see students thrive after graduating - using the platform that you gave them to lead in ministry?

What area is the best opportunity for you to let go so students can lead it?

What steps do you need to take to establish spaces for students to explore and create something creative to use their gifts and talents?

PRAY FOR

For apathy towards Jesus to be eradicated in our students

For students' vision and desire to lead in their group to explode

For students to be bold to take risks

For wisdom for us to give away the ministry to our students
