A heart of gratitude and thanksgiving changes our leadership. It is something we strive to have but uncertain times can create our hearts to want more than we have. This in turn impacts the way we lead in every aspect of life.
How do we take a self-aware look at ourselves and see the areas where we can improve our gratitude and, correspondingly, improve our leadership?

Where would you rate yourself on the gratitude scale? (1 being "it is difficult" and 10 being "gratitude is natural")
Which one of your volunteer leaders or parents are you most grateful for and why?
Is there a difference between showing gratefulness and encouraging your team, volunteers, or parents?
What percentage of your time do you spend with adults in your ministry and what percentage of your time do you spend with students?
What are the primary reasons you can find yourself in a place of ungratefulness about your volunteer team, church, or parents?
Read Philippians 2:14-15 as a group. What does this passage have to say on this topic and how does it challenge you to think differently?
What is one person you can express gratitude once you leave this place?
