Schools Are the Frontlines of Our Mission

Randy Davis - July 20, 2023

It is hard to believe, but summer is half over and we are preparing for the beginning of school. The start of a new school year is so important. It sets the stage for the year by positioning students to meet academic rigor and busy schedules.

Youth leaders work hard in this season to connect with new and returning students and earn their trust in order to gain an opportunity to share the story of Jesus with them during the year. We know that this will not happen unless we have people like you praying, and we ask you to join us in this crucial role!

"I'm giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on."

In our mission to reach every teenager with the gospel, school campuses and detention facilities are the frontlines where 81% of the teen population spends three-fourths of every year. During our Footprints & Funds campaign on August 15, 16, and 17, we will gather at schools and juvenile detention centers across the nation to claim that ground in preparation for a new year of ministry (Joshua 1:3).

We invite you to partner with us to reach more students this school year.

There are two ways you can be involved in Footprints & Funds:

  1. Join our team for a prayer walk in our city and place your footprints on a campus. While we will not reach every school and juvenile center this year, we are committed to reaching as many as possible.

  2. Prayerfully consider a financial gift to help us reach more teenagers this year. Each gift represents increased opportunities to step into the spaces where students are present.

Please get in touch with our team at footprints@nnym.org for more information about this event. I covet your partnership and can't wait to share more as we unite to advance the gospel story to teenagers.

Thank you for faithfully joining us in this mission!
