The NNYM team is mourning the sudden and tragic loss of Orlando Rivera, who went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2018. He was 52.
Orlando shared NNYM's passion for bringing believers together to accomplish great things for the kingdom. He joined the Network's Ministry Council in 2017, immediately offering valuable wisdom and was an active partner as both an individual and as a member of the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative team. His calm and joyful demeanor were present wherever he was.
Orlando had a 20-year affiliation as a leader within DVULI since its inception. During his tenure, he influenced youth workers all over the nation. His wide-ranging and fruitful ministry included serving as a pastor at Northlands Church in Orlando, Florida.
A larger loss will be felt by his wife Nancy, their 10 children, and three grandchildren. Please pray with us for their comfort, God's supernatural peace and provision.
