You may have heard it said, "A weekend retreat with students is better than a whole year of Sunday School". This definitely does not diminish the weekly Sunday School or Wednesday night youth meeting, but we have seen what can happen when we get away with students. What happens when a group of youth leaders get away for a three-day retreat?
March 30 - April 1 in the Southeast corner of the United States NNYM, First Priority and Youth Leader Oasis are hosting a retreat simply called Refresh23. This weekend will provide some great times of connection with like-minded youth leaders, worship alongside the Suwannee River, some teaching times with some veteran youth leaders and some alone time with Jesus.
Since this is the first year, we are limiting it to the first 100 to sign up and the cost is $49 for the Youth Leader and if you want to bring one other person from your church or parachurch group the cost is $75 for both which includes two nights lodging and six meals. Register soon if the dates are right for you. It's definitely accessible for a short drive for those in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
