This is the first series of its kind - directed to youth, with a faith message - to air on the FOX-owned stations and in national syndication on other network affiliate stations.
The series is produced by Challenger Films of Atlanta. Executive Producer and President Dr. Diane Preston-Reilly explained how this series is different from any reality series nationally broadcast. "We wanted to create a series that isn't based on sensationalism," she said. "There are too many programs for teens that offer content that is denigrating. Instead, we went all over the United States and found young people who have misfortunes, but find a way to rise above them through their personal faith and discipline. Deep down, everyone today wants to know how to win over their struggles. We try to show them in an entertaining way how to do that. We want young people to know it is by being committed to the Lord that you have the real winning edge over the challenges each of us face. That's why we call the program The Real Winning Edge."
Challenger Films is looking for youth who would fit their criteria to be filmed for this national television show: teens who have overcome a big challenge or adverse situation through their faith.
