If there's one thing I've learned in my 35 years with the National Network of Youth Ministries (NNYM), it's this:
God loves harmony.
This theme rings out across Scripture, from the psalms of David to the visions of John, from Jesus' final prayer to Paul's letters to the early church. Psalm 133:1 says, "Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity!" And Revelation paints a glorious picture of heavenly harmony, a divine concert of every tribe, tongue, and nation lifting praise in beautiful, unending chorus.
Harmony is heaven's heartbeat.
So it makes perfect sense that when we pray, we'd echo the harmony that delights our Father's heart. When believers unite in purpose and prayer, something powerful happens. It moves the heart of God, and it moves us toward His will on earth.
Enter the Symphony of Prayer
This August and September, we're inviting you to join the Symphony of Prayer: a nationwide season of united prayer for students, teachers, and campuses.
Whether you're a parent, pastor, youth leader, teacher, or student, there's a place for you in this symphony. Pick your instrument. Find your part. Join the harmony.
The opening movement begins with an initiative we call Footprints on Campus (August 11-15). We're asking friends across the country to simply step onto a school campus in your community and pray.
No signs. No protests. Just presence.
Just prayer.
Invite a few friends, walk the grounds of your local school, and ask God to let His kingdom come, His will be done-there, just as it is in heaven.

Together, we believe we can cover all 67,000 middle and high school campuses and 1,200 juvenile justice centers in prayer. Just imagine the sound of that harmony from heaven's perspective.
