Church ministry or Parachurch ministry? Which one is the right way to go? I believe that God has called THE church to make sure that we focus on both.
I think these conversations need to happen more. I loved that we tackled the hard parts of what we do in this conversation. God does not call us to talk bad about the YP down the road or the area director.
We, as youth ministers, have begun to silo ourselves into "our own things," but "our own thing" should be God's thing. God's thing is community.
The Church Iacks in many ways, but so does parachurch ministries. When we come together realizing our weaknesses we can further the message of the Kingdom together!
