There is a new generational wave on the horizon. They are becoming the leaders of the church today and view the world differently than those who have come before. Generation Z were born between the late 1990s through mid 2010s and is the first trully post-Christian generation. According to Roxanne Stone of Barna Group, "They are most ethnically diverse generation alive today, and they have, for better and worse, grown up with technology at their fingertips."
Every generation needs to hear the gospel but some are more open than others. SInce each generation grows up in a different global context, wisdom is needed in understanding how to connect with them That is why The Network Training Team has asked Jordan Biere, an expert on Generation Z, to share at our next Network Conversations: The Gospel. Jordan is the national director for Alpha Youth and cohosts the Youth Ministry Mindest podcast. He equips church leaders to disciple generations of teenagers with expertise in sharing Jesus with Gen Z teens. Jordan has great hope for this digital generation, "Because we believe that a tidal wave of grace is coming for and by Gen Z in the Church."
