When standing on the frontlines of ministry, even the simplist form of encouragement fills you up. Here are three ways I have been encouraged... I'm sure there are many more!
- Stop by to say, "Sup!" We drop into students lives all of the time, but when was the last time a peer dropped in on you to tell you how awesome you are?
- Pray for them & let them know. Take 30 seconds. Pray for their ministry. Pray for their physical, spiritual, emotional and social health. After praying for them, WRITE A NOTE and send it snail-mail (texting works too, but snail-mail is still awesome).
- Send them some of your youth group swag. Free stuff makes you smile. Just avoid writing a note that says, "Saw your lame t-shirt last week and thought you'd like to see what nice swag looks like!"
Thanks for loving teens!
